Previously all Austin City Council members were elected at large - and it was a non-partisan election. Now the city has been divided into 10 districts. Each district will elect one city council person - also a non-partisan election. The mayor will still be an at large member of city council.
These forums are specifically for District 10. We don't have information on other district forums at this time. Attend a Candidate forum to learn about their position on many topics. Ask them a question about their position on free speech and corporate personhood. The link above has sample questions to help you out.
