Write a message on your car. It's better than a bumper sticker!
Homecoming, Newlywed, Graduation messages, as well as For Sale signs are written on vehicles. We see them every day. So why not use this art form to get our political message out? It's highly visible, colorful and conveys your message. |
This was my first try at window writing. I hope to have a better one soon. Send me photos of your car and I'll add them to this page. rochelleday7293@wildblue.net

Make sure to clean your window (and maybe your car as well).
Plan ahead what you want to write and space the words out so the writing doesn't distract from the message. I practiced in the dust before I washed the window so I had some idea of the spacing needed for my message.
Avoid large lettering on one side and smaller on the other, as you run out of space.
Keep your message short and simple. Humor is always nice.
Use multiple colors to create a more interesting sign or add decorative touches. In some cases, white is the best. Red and Blue did not show up well on my dark tinted window. Yellow was ok but white might be better.
It isn't safe or legal to write messages on the windshield if you are going to drive the vehicle. Use side or rear windows or write on the body of the vehicle.
It's easy to clean off and apply a fresh message as often as you like.
Let people know about upcoming events or inform them about the issue.
People can see your message from a distance, unlike a bumper sticker that only the car behind you can see.
