How to Reach Out to Other Groups
If you are interested in becoming an organizer in your area, first see if there are already groups focused on this issue. It might be a good idea to get involved with that group or you may find that you have different goals or methods. It's still helpful to talk with members of the other group and learn what they have already done. Get information and tips from them.
You may find a group that is not focused on this issue, but would like to get involved or set up a committee to research this topic.
